R.S.V.P. by July 15th!

We met in the quad at Cabrillo College, thanks to our mutual buddy (and groomsman, Yaser). Long story short, we both felt it was fate because of a variety of things that added up to us both being on campus on the same day when we were never on campus (Fun Fact: It was a Monday) at the same time with my friend Yaser, a person Ashoka had just met hours earlier and became friends with. Ashoka asked Yaser for Terra's number, and the rest is history! 8.5 years of history up to the wedding =)

Ashoka had apparently been planning for weeks and weeks to pin down a weekend that we weren't both busy, so he could plan a special date day without Terra being suspicious. Because he was casual about it, Terra didn't pay much attention for figuring out a day right away. Finally, Terra and one of her besties, Erin, discussed getting together on a weekend. Ashoka took the opportunity to hijack the get together into a double date, with a particular plan in mind; Show bridesmaid Erin and Best Man Kyle Filoli Gardens in Woodside-a place Terra loves and we went for our 4 year anniversary in 2014. Longer story shorter, as many clues in retrospect that Terra could have noticed, Ashoka completely surprised Terra when he got down on one knee in front of the grand pool and gardens and read a poem. We had an awesome special engagement day with two of our best friends, (plus they snapped us pics and a video!) and it couldn't have been more perfect.
