We're Getting Married!

Years back, we never thought we would succumb to the chaos of online dating. However, as the years went by and neither of us met anyone in the "traditional way" we both turned to an online dating app, Hinge. We couldn't be more grateful that we did! When we matched, Trent initially won Nicole over with his goofy (yet endearing) humor. Trent knew there was something special about Nicole as she was clear in her intentions. This wasn’t something to pass the time, but we were both looking for something serious. On our first date, we enjoyed getting Thai food and walking around South Bend to continue talking and learning more about each other. From there our relationship continued to grow. Already having a shared love of coffee, board/card games, antiquing, and the outdoors, we've also introduced each other to our individual interests such as finding beach glass, art (Nicole), disc golf, soccer, and video games (Trent). As we spent more time together, we realized we each prioritized the most important things: faith and family. Knowing that we shared the same foundation in Christ and a desire to further his kingdom, we prayed that marriage and a lifetime together was God's purpose for us. God answered that prayer by giving Trent clear skies (when it was supposed to be raining) so he could propose to Nicole at her favorite place, on the beach in Michigan City. Of course, Nicole said yes! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our story with you!
