We highly recommend renting a car for the duration of your stay. Samos does not have rideshare services like Uber or Lyft, and while taxis are available, they can be difficult to find. Greeks drive on the right side of the road, just like in the US.
šŖŖ International Driving Permit (IDP)
Most car rental companies in Greece require an IDP alongside your US driver's license. They're easy to get and only cost $20. Apply through AAA before your trip:
