We're getting married!

Every couple has a love story. Well, this is how ours began. We were on a Group hiking FB page, watching each other’s post. I thought this hot guy has done some amazing off-trail hikes. At the same time, he was watching me be the "social butterfIy" that I am on FB as well as, doing group hikes. With the help of mutual friends, we finally got the courage to contact each other. The first date came, and I went to the wrong place to meet him. I went to the Rainbow Falls parking lot, and he was waiting for me in Greenbrier parking lot. When I got to the bottom of the hill at the PARK VISTA Hotel, (yes, the hotel we are getting married at,) I called him, and it hit me all at once, he said what trail he was near. I just walked over and gave him a hug, and said it’s nice to finally meet you. The first date was amazing. He said I kicked butt on my first, off-trail adventure. So, the 2nd and 3rd date came and went. From that point on, we knew this was our forever love story. The big day came and we went back to our favorite place, Buzzard Roost. He romantically proposed to me, and I said "YES!" On Saturday, September 28, 2019, we get to say "I DO," and finally become Mr. & Mrs. Poppen. ❤️
