We are not residents of Bowling Green so we're limited on our knowledge of the area. Bowling Green is a former tourist destination as it's located close to Mammoth Cave, Cave City, and the various other KY caves. Lots of now-defunct tourist locations from the 60s spot the region. Bowling Green also houses the National Corvette museum, Western Kentucky University, and has a cute downtown area. Bowling Green is 1 hour north of Nashville TN and 2 hours south of Louisville. Both cities offer a lot of great things to do. We're Louisville residents if you decide to explore Louisville we can suggest options.

Lost River Cave is our wedding venue and also a state park. It has lots of fun activities including ziplining, boat rides through the cave, and "gem mining" for kids. The park offers guests of our wedding a discount to any activities. Recommendation for scheduling ahead for boat tours and ziplining.
