We're getting married!

We matched on hinge (who knows who liked who first) and quickly set a date to meet up. Unfortunately Emily came down with strep throat as an adult and had to tell Keith that she still wanted to meet up but could not on our originally planned weekend. Keith may have thought she was faking it but he agreed to meet up at a different time, exchanged numbers, in the meantime and waited for the first date. Keith came back early from a fishing trip for a quick drinks date and immediately we connected. From there - we had a whirlwind second date where Emily met most of us his Grand Rapids friend group at a birthday party, followed by a quickly scheduled third date where she met the infamous Gertrude and fell in love with her on the spot. From there - we quickly became a part of each others worlds. Hunting and fishing trips, kickball teams, moving in together, a new dog and lots of new friends through the past 2+ years. In October 2025, we took a trip to the UP where we had been both years prior together and proposed. She said YES! We will be married in a small ceremony the day prior to our reception with parents, siblings, and close family. We are looking forward to celebrating with you all this summer during our intimate wedding reception in August 2026.
