Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport will be the most convenient and cost effective airport in relation to the venue and for renting a vehicle to explore the Seattle area.

Travel Note

Do I need a rental car?

If you are flying into Seattle from out of town and would like to explore areas outside the city limits of Seattle (highly recommend if you're able!), then we suggest renting a car to use during your stay. If you are staying within Seattle for the duration of your visit, then there are public transit options available (although we're no NYC) and of course Uber/Lyft that would allow you to easily get to the venue and other places within the city.

Travel Note

Lodging

The venue is located in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle - an eclectic little place with historical and industrial charm - and there are not really any great hotel options nearby. As such, we suggest you stay in one of the other Seattle neighborhoods. In lieu of listing dozens of hotel and AirBnb options for you to choose from, we encourage you to check out the "view" link below (or any other online articles) to get a better sense of what neighborhood you might want to stay in - they are all very different! And feel free to reach out to us for personalized suggestions :) Our favorite neighborhoods are (in no particular order): Capitol Hill, Fremont, Ballard, West Seattle, Wallingford, Queen Anne and the Central District. The downtown neighborhoods are also a good option if you have never been to Seattle, but are like most downtown areas of major cities: a little less charming than some of the other areas (in our opinion) - but we would recommend Belltown if we had to pick! (lots of fun things to do there)

Travel Note

Getting to the Corson Building

Even if you rent a car to explore Seattle during your stay we recommend taking Uber/Lyft as a best option for getting to venue. The Corson Building is located in a busy part of Georgetown (it’s honestly kind of ridiculous when you see it) and so there is little parking available. That being said, if you want to try to find street parking nearby, go for it, but build in some extra time for that if you do. (And don’t leave any valuables visible in your car!)
