Terese and Roy met in Iowa City in their last semester of grad school through a mutual friend (thanks Liz :)). Their first date was at Mondo's in Iowa City, the place where Roy would later propose on a trip back to Iowa City three years later. Through a stroke of fate, both were headed to Chicago the following year; Terese with her residency and Roy with a job already lined up. Over the course of the next three years, they've had many adventures exploring the restaurants, museums, and shows that Chicago has to offer, watching the Cubs storied 2016 playoff run to a World Series win, adopting a half dog-sister for Seamus, and taking many trips all over the country to hunt, fish, hike, eat, drink good beer, and see other great friends get married.  Now they are excited to welcome everyone to Des Moines to help celebrate their wedding!
