When do we need to know you’re coming?

Answer

By December 1, 2025, we kindly ask that you confirm your attendance. This helps us provide our vendors with an accurate guest count and allows us to plan thoughtfully. Your response means so much to us, and we truly look forward to celebrating with you.

Do I need a coat?

Answer

Probably. Everything will be indoors but the stairs are from 155 years ago so there is also an outdoor path between floors. It’s end of December in northern Indiana. It could be snowing or it could be 60.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Yes! As this is a family celebration at Christmas time, children are welcome. We simply ask that they be mindful and respectful during key moments of our special day.

Will there be alcohol?

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, convenient parking is available in a spacious field located just to the left as you enter Red Barn, ensuring easy access for all guests.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The doors to the venue will open one hour ahead of our ceremony time at 3pm. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space (located about a 5-minute walk from the parking area) and find a seat.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers and a videographer to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

Can I take any photos during the wedding?

Answer

We welcome and encourage photos throughout our wedding celebration! Feel free to capture and share special moments on social media or use the QR codes at each table to send us your favorite snapshots. The only exception is during our ceremony, where we kindly request that guests be fully present and enjoy the moment.
