Teresa and Tristian’s story begins long ago in 2008, at Celia Hayes elementary. Tristian and his parents moved to a new home in Rockwall Texas, leading him right to his woman, 13 years too early. Teresa can tell you exactly what he was wearing, and each feature about young T during their first encounter. Tristian can recall she was the tall one with glasses, he wasn’t quite interested in girls yet. Fast forward 13 years to Terrell Texas, November 2021. Teresa’s working a normal retail day and in walks T wearing a camo jacket, matching Teresa’s. First thing out of her mouth is, “Hey we’re twinning!” with her bright smile from ear to ear. After checking out and figuring out where he knew her from Tristan left and later returned to get her number. He was met with an obstacle, she was at work and couldn’t give out personal information. But she happened to let him know she’d be at the Starbucks down the street after work the next day. Sunday came and as she got off of work nerves were higher than ever. She waited at the coffee shop for almost an hour for him and then he showed. Dinner date at Olive Garden and then instant friends. If you ask anyone the two of them were absolutely inseparable. Going to water parks with the kids Teresa nannied for, to road trips to Louisiana, these two were always doing something interesting. Teresa remembers when she fell in love with Tristian, it was during their trip to San Antonio Texas for a wedding. The sweetest looks, carefree conversations, and easy going nature of him put her wild heart at ease. Tristian will tell you that it was just about love at first re-sight for him. One month in he accidentally let the L-word slip out. Oopsie… Once Teresa came to terms with her feelings there was no stopping these two. Their love grew stronger each day. But as love grows life catches up… After taking time to grow separately during 2023 while missing each other endlessly. These two found themselves always magnetized towards one another. And finally after a long while they were reunited once more. This time as a family, a beautiful baby girl had been added to the mix. Teresa and Tristian have quite the story and have been learning and growing abundantly within themselves. They find their peace and comfort in one another and love and cherish their connection. Sometimes it takes losing someone to see what you had, and they will never lose each other again. Song of Solomon 3:4 “I found him whom my soul loves.”
