What’s the Dress Code?

Dress Code: Garden Party Cocktail 🌿 It’s a summer celebration, so think polished but relaxed! Light fabrics, fun colors, florals, and breezy styles are perfect. Good options include sundresses, midi/maxi dresses, jumpsuits, skirts with a nice top, collared or button-down shirts, dressy shorts, slacks, chinos, or lightweight suits. Basically anything summer-appropriate and dressy without being overly formal. The ceremony and yard games will be on grass, while reception and dinner are on a concrete patio. Lawn-friendly shoes like wedges, flats, or block heels are recommended. Please avoid white dresses or very casual clothing like T-shirts or activewear. Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel great and come ready to celebrate, play lawn games, enjoy good food, and dance the night away with us!

Are Children Welcome?

Yes! We absolutely want children to be part of our celebration. We’re excited to celebrate with all the people we love, big and small! There will be lawn games, space to run around, and kid-friendly areas, so everyone can join in the fun. Just a heads-up: the ceremony and some games are on grass, so comfy shoes for little feet are a good idea.

There is on-site parking available for all guests. For anyone who may need a little help getting from the lot to the ceremony or reception, we’ll have a golf cart available for accessibility.

We want everyone to enjoy the food! If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know ahead of time (on the RSVP) so we can make sure there’s something delicious for you.

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, which means we’d love everyone to enjoy the moment without phones or cameras. After the ceremony, we’ll have a photo scavenger hunt! Snap fun pics and upload them to a QR code so we can see all the creative shots from the day!

Outdoors, Activities & Comfort

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and fun will be outdoors, so get ready for sun, grass, and summer fun! We’ll have lawn games, a bounce house, and plenty of space to play for both kids and adults. To stay comfy, we recommend sunscreen and lawn-friendly shoes like wedges, flats, or block heels.
