It all started in 2017 at Madera High School when Teresa was waiting for her dad near the tennis courts and Nate just happened to be on the tennis team. His friends made sure she knew he liked her but she wasn’t convinced yet. They became close friends and by Teresa’s senior year things started to shift. Coffee dates turned into mini golf, bowling, and way too many food adventures. On April 13, 2018 Nate asked Teresa to be his girlfriend and they have been inseparable ever since. Fast forward to December 2024 Teresa was on vacation in Texas with her family while Nate on his own mission bought an engagement ring guessing her ring size and (somehow) getting it exactly right! For months he kept his big plan a secret. Marriage had always been something they talked about often ending those conversations with a sweet and hopeful “one day.” In February 2025 that “one day” they always talked about became a reality. Nate met privately with Teresa’s parents and asked for their blessing. Then on February 22, 2025 surrounded by family at his home Nate asked Teresa to be his wife. Spoiler: she said yes! Now they are counting down to April 25, 2026 ready to get married start their next adventure and celebrate with all the people they love most.
