We're getting married!

As Kevin started a new career in the Boston area as an elementary school teacher, he was in search of something more. Teresa, 836 miles away in North Carolina, was also in search of a new career in tech. By chance, Teresa was offered a job in Boston and took a risk to start a new life in a new city all by herself, of course, her dog Evie was along for the ride. With Kevin starting his new career in September 2018 and Teresa, also, starting her new career in September of that same year, that first month was focused on getting their footing and learning a whole new routine. By October the two happened to sign up for the dating app Hinge. Kevin came across Teresa's profile and quickly messaged her. The two started talking for a few days and decided to meet up for a drink. The day had come in October to meet up in South Boston. Teresa was waiting patiently by her phone to get the confirmation. Kevin on the other hand was a little late in texting her to confirm their date which led to some anxiety on the other end for Teresa. Teresa was getting prepared for the date and somehow locked herself out of her apartment with Evie and had to reschedule. Kevin was happy to reschedule and the two finally met for brunch the very next day. Ever since that first date, the two have been head over heels for one another. They spent some time in South Boston and then moved down to Quincy together.

They got engaged on Valentine's Day of 2021 on a Boston Harbor Valentine's Day cruise. Throughout the day Teresa was questioning Kevin if he was about to pop the question. Kevin made sure not to spill the beans until the time was right. They are now looking forward to an April 30th, 2022, wedding in Kingston, Massachusetts at the Indian Pond Country Club. They are looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together and building a family!
