We’re getting married!

Teresa: I was working at the grocery store during the Christmas break from college. It was my last day of scheduled work, Deon and his oldest brother checked out their groceries in my lane. There was light conversation made, then Deon asked for my number. I said, “No.” He replied, “Really?!” I paused, looked at him, noticed how handsome he was, and changed my answer! I left for school the next day. We began talking over the phone, then he began to visit me at Langston University. We had our first date in Stillwater, OK. It seemed as if we’ve known each other forever! He made me feel so comfortable and I had a fondness for the qualities of his character! Over the past years, we have grown stronger together. We have traveled together, supported each other through tough times, been each other’s critics, and we’ve accomplished goals together. Our biggest goal thus far is building and purchasing a home together! We’ve been on the journey to Jones since then and now we are excited to begin our journey as one.
