Flight

Hailey, ID, or Boise, ID, or Twin Falls, ID

The Sun Valley airport (SUN) is located 25 min away by car in Hailey, Idaho. Delta, United, and Alaska Airlines serve the airport. The airport in Boise, Idaho (BOI) is an easy 2.5 hr drive by car to Sun Valley and offers many direct flights from a range of airlines, including internationally. Twin Falls (TWF) is about 90 from Sun Valley and is a small, regional airport with flights on Delta connecting through Salt Lake City. For arrival into BOI or TWF we recommend renting a car at the airport and driving to Sun Valley.

Travel Note

Getting Around Sun Valley

Transportation will be provided for the wedding weekend celebrations. We suggest renting a car while in Sun Valley if you have time to explore; you cannot rely on Uber or Lyft. If you're looking for other modes of transportation there are three primary options: 1. The Local Bus - Mountain Rides: A free public bus service that serves Ketchum, Sun Valley, and adjacent towns. You can download the Mountain Rides app via RouteShout 2.0 or check out the Bus Routes and Schedules online. 2. Wood River Taxi: A local taxi company that can be reached at 208.788.8294. Just keep in mind that it's a small town with just a few drivers. 3. Bike Rental: Elephant's Perch, located right in town, has hourly ($20/4-hr) or per-day ($30/day) bike rentals available.
