It all started with a question about a fish. Since he likes striper (striped bass), Danny messaged Teresa complimenting her catch, and soon he would capture her heart.

Their first date was to dinner in downtown OKC and a walk at Scissortail Park with friends.

Danny emceed the Ada Hope Center Gala, sharing his story & stats about what God is doing in Ada, in Oklahoma & nationwide to lead addicts & their families to become fully devoted followers of Christ.

Danny came to support Teresa in her “5k in 90 Days” goal 💛 He ended up outpacing our whole group in his Blue jeans!

Our First Ministry Mission: Danny spoke on “Burn The Ships” at the SWC Hope Center Men’s Retreat, and Teresa prepared the slides! 😊 🔥

On Oct 18th, Danny took Teresa to her favorite German market followed by a drive, stroll and lunch in Medicine Park—a place he visited as a child. Little did she know his plans for later that day!

New Beginnings: On October 18th (8 months and 1 day after that first message), in a private spot on top of Mount Scott, Danny got on one knee and asked Teresa to marry him!

Danny had asked Teresa’s parents for their blessing the week before without her knowing.

She said yes 💍 🙌🏼 😉

Danny and Teresa share a love for God’s Word and later that day went on a hike up Elk Mountain where they read together.

We love the lake! We can’t wait to celebrate with our family and friends on the lake in February (our one year mark)! 🎉 😊
