Best friends really doesn't describe it enough. Sisters is more appropriate. 29 years of friendship. Blooming in kindergarten, sticking up for each other in soccer, surviving awkward junior high, navigating boy friends in high school (helping me find my HS sweetheart), navigating long distance friendship, her wedding, now mine! There is no one else on this planet that can read my mind, finish my sentences before I've even started them, and knows exactly when to reach out for a laugh, a hug or a pick me up. Sometimes your family is the ones you choose, and we chose each other a long time ago. I can't imagine standing up with my future husband, without my sister by my side.

You have boy soulmates, in my case - Devon. And then you have female soulmates- Tanya. From the first moment of SMU orientation, she branched out to talk about our potential futures, to end up doing our futures together. From crying in elevators, to cheersing that we did not fail Evidence Based Practice we have come out on the othersides thriving as adults, and friends. Feel so lucky I get to have her by my side for yet another milestone.

I have never had a hype-woman before until I met this lady in PT school. And she CARRIED us through school, and life with her positivity, her happiness and her GIANT heart. I got to be a part of her and her husbands journey from long term bf/gf to finance, to husband and wife. And I can't wait for this hype woman make this the wedding of the century.

Not all childhood friends last, but not all childhood friends put in the effort like Maggie. From playing soccer as kids, to reconnecting over fries to Vegas, Mexico and all in the betweens. Magz is just a special person through in through. She makes you feel like the best individual, but she does this to every person in the room simultaneously. I am so grateful to have her by my side all these years later.
