nothing fancy, just love.

Terence and I met during undergrad at the University of West Georgia, and had both started the History Program in the Fall of 2016! It wasn’t until the following Spring semester that our story begins though. After mutiple attempts to get his attention, I finally shot my shot and asked for his “help” on one of our class assignments. He took the bait and agreed to help me, and we planned to meet at the McIntosh Reserve sometime in the upcoming weeks to get the information we needed for our papers. I was driving from my parent’s home in Northeast Georgia the weekend that we decided to meet up, and being the person that I am, I typed in the wrong address which caused me to be over an hour late! Wanna talk about a great first impression! He waited though, and I should’ve known right then and there that he was the one! But it took us almost an entire year to realize what was in front of us. We continued to hangout that semester, but I knew I would be going home that summer to lifeguard so we agreed to be friends and thought maybe we would pick up after the summer. When I returned that fall though, both of us we’re seeing other people, but as the year progressed he was a familiar face in most of my classes and there was no denying we had some chemistry. Things were effortless between us and as our fall semester was coming to a close, our previous relationships fizzled out and we decided to go ice skating at Atlantic Station. That was the night that both of us knew we wanted to take things serious and we’ve been together ever since! We’ve been together now for three years, and we welcomed our first son this past November. We are looking forward to a lifetime of love and happiness, and we are beyond excited for everyone to celebrate this new chapter with us! So, let the countdown begin!
