On April 4, 2013, they made a choice that would change everything—they chose each other, fully and intentionally. With that decision came another meaningful step: blending their worlds and introducing their children after that first year of building a foundation. Marcus, true to his nature, was effortlessly cool—perfectly content playing video games at Dave & Buster’s. Alivia, on the other hand, approached the moment with quiet observation, taking everything in with a thoughtful, watchful eye.
