We matched on Bumble and from that moment on, we couldn't stop talking! We planned out our first date the same hour we matched. He made a reservation and we met at a Pasta Grill in Historic Downtown Van Buren just 2 days later... texting non-stop as we waited to meet. At Pasta Grill we talked for hours, until finally realizing we were the last ones in the restaurant -they were closed! We apologized and headed for the exit to leave. Neither of us wanted the night to end, so Caleb suggested we take a walk through the park across the street. We continued our conversation and sat on the park bench. We both (unknowingly at the time) made the decision on that bench, that we were going to marry each other one day. We both knew then and there, God had led us to each other. Rain and lightning began to threaten us as the moon rose over our heads, so Caleb walked me back to my car to conclude our 1st date. Flash forward a couple months later, Caleb recreated our entire 1st date AND popped the question where we parted that night. Now, that spot is no longer where we said goodbye, it is where we promised to never part again -at least until we say "I do" on 3/21!
