We're Getting Married!

Social media has become perhaps the most popular instrument of creating that perfect "Harry Met Sally" moment & this love story is no different. A mutual friend of Tequila who just happened to be a long-running friend of Kenneth's, set the thoughts in motion that they should meet. Apprehensive of striking up an affair on Facebook, the two spent a couple of months of stalking each other's profiles until Kenneth saw the opportunity to strike up a chat with her. After months of good laughter & conversation over the phone, he reluctantly invited Tequila to the church he attended in Norcross. She was looking for a church home herself so she happily accepted & that's where the two would meet in person for the first time in the first week of January 2017. Their friendship would continue to grow for one more month until Tequila decided to become a member of First Fellowship Baptist Church & so they celebrated with their first official date: two 4 for $4 specials at Wendy's. Simple but sweet but as fate would have it, there would be much more tender moments to follow...

Led to believe that they were going on a date to Cafe Intermezzo, Tequila was instructed to wear something nice. While she wasn't a huge fan of dresses, Tequila went along with the idea. As they departed for the night, Kenneth loaded up his camera equipment & said that he wanted to capture the moment. Tequila knows him for taking a lot of "selfies" so she thought it was normal. The pair made a pit stop to a secluded rooftop that was surrounded with an immaculate view of the downtown Atlanta skyline. Tequila has shared moments with Kenneth here before so she still had no idea what was in store for her. He stepped out to discreetly set up the camera. Shortly afterwards, Tequila would join him staring off to the city. Kenneth stopped, looked at her & said that he wanted to snap a pic, so he ran to check the camera. Once he saw it was in focus, he took some pictures of her. Setting up for one last set, he darted over to her & she asked, "What are you doing?" Then that's where he dropped down on one knee... And the rest is HISTORY.
