Flight
From the U.S., the two main international airports in Italy with direct flights are Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO) and Milan’s Malpensa Airport (MXP). To get closer to our venue in Tuscany, we recommend flying into Florence’s Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR) or Pisa International Airport (PSA).

Train
If you're flying into Rome or Milan, take a train to Florence (Firenze S. M. Novella)—a fast and scenic ride. We recommend spending a little time exploring Florence, especially the Duomo. From Florence, you can take a direct train to Lucca, just outside the historic center. We recommend downloading one of the two apps on your phone to book train tickets directly: TrenItalia or Italo.
Travel Note
Uber isn’t a thing in Italy, but don’t worry—getting around is still super easy! You’ll find city taxis outside major stations like Florence and Lucca. For extra convenience, we suggest downloading AppTaxi—Italy’s version of Uber. It lets you book a ride on the spot or in advance. Tap the link below to get it on your phone!
Travel Note
Your passport must be valid for 3 months before & 3 months after your trip for a total of 6 months. Our suggestion is to renew no later than December 2025. It takes 13+ weeks to renew your passport. More info below.
Hotel
Due to the limited capacity at Villa Valentini Bonaparte, we reserved a block at Le Torri Di Porsenna. It is located less than 5 minutes from the venue, and transportation between the two resorts will be provided.
