We were first introduced in Nashville, TN in 2014 by our mutual friends, Chris Willard and Aurora MacDougall. Rachel, Chris, and Aurora all went to college together in Nashville, TN. In 2014, Andrew and Chris were stationed in the army together at Ft. Gordon in Augusta, GA and had driven to Nashville, where Rachel was living, for a home visit. Aurora had us all over to watch a football game at her apartment and so that is where we first met. Our paths crossed a second time January 2016 when Andrew came with Chris to visit Nashville a second time. They decided to come to the bar where Rachel was working. Sparks were flying that night and the next day, Rachel let Chris know she was very interested in his friend. The rest is history!

Andrew proposed to Rachel at sunset on the beach in Cancun, Mexico. He had an amazing photographer there on site to document the big moment and we had our engagement shoot right there on the beach. Also, we were invited by Mexican cartel to take some pictures in his back yard. He insisted, so we couldn’t say no.

We are eloping on September 23, 2023 at Picture Lake in the North Cascades in Washington State with our immediate family members! We will share photos of our special day during our reception!
