Julia and Will celebrate their tenth anniversary of marriage on May 27, and Hugo has his first birthday on July 11. (Also, Will turns 36 on July 10, but that's not very cool...) It's hard to believe that all of these things are true, so let's split the difference, and celebrate on June 11! Coincidentally, Julia and Will were engaged on June 11, so there's some family history on this date, too.
We would like our celebration to be as safe as possible in consideration of the (not yet totally over) COVID-19 pandemic. We will have COVID-19 vulnerable guests including children (some of whom cannot yet receive a vaccination), and we want to help ensure their safety. With all of that being said, we are requiring guests meet three criteria to attend: 1. Vaccination: if you are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, you MUST be fully vaccinated (including booster doses). 2. Rapid testing: we are requiring that guests test negative using a rapid COVID-19 test prior to attending. The ideal time to do this is as close to arriving as possible. Most insurance plans cover these tests for free if you go through the pharmacy window to purchase them. 3. If you are symptomatic, please stay home, even if you test negative. We will be monitoring for any new COVID-19 waves, and reserve the right to cancel the party if transmission rates rise to unsafe levels. We will give as much advance notice as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate how best to keep everyone safe.
Please, do not feel the need to bring any gifts. We just want to see you all, and have fun celebrating 10 years of marriage and 1 year of Hugo!
