Did you know that the already infinite universe is constantly expanding? We both did. This remarkably fun fact that broke the ice on Hinge expanded into a new universe beyond either of our imaginations. Endless messages over our shared love of Disney, cats, and wine quickly led to a first date and paved the way to bring us here today. Ironically, neither of us wanted to go on that date. It was a wintry Tuesday, we both had a long day braving the inexorable plight of capitalism, and we wearied of the dating app drudgery. But we both showed up. We chose each other from the very first day. The toil of the day served to strip away any first date façade and freed us to discuss life sans inhibition. Over coffee, we talked about existence and philosophy, lingering longer than either of us expected. We had entered the infinite, daring to explore it together. Over the following days and weeks and months we connected over the serious and the silly: our mutual appreciation for Camus’ The Myth of Sisyphus, our collective (and correct) opinion that Shrek is the most influential film of our time, and most importantly, a deep love as boundless as the universe that brought us together. Our love continued to grow as we shared our lives and bared our hearts, meeting each other’s friends and families and creating cherished memories with all our favorite people. We have already been able to share so much joy with our favorite people, and now it’s finally our turn to enjoy lucky number 10 with all of you on 10/10/2026! Every year we spend together brings new joy, new adventures, and new reasons to celebrate. We are so excited to share the beginning of our infinity with you.
