Although we only grew up an hour away from each other, we officially met in August 2018. Through mutual friends (shoutout Kadi and Cade Dyal!), our paths crossed in Kingsville, Texas. We often saw each other on the weekends at “The Football House” or dancing at The Country Luau. Over Christmas break, Cameron had begun messaging Tenley more frequently. She thought he was being friendly and trying to stay in contact over the break. Come spring semester (2019), we were busy with baseball and beach volleyball. But we still had some Saturdays at The Lu. After dancing, we would usually hug and go our separate ways. But after one dance, Cameron snuck a kiss on Tenley’s cheek! She didn’t know what to think, she hadn’t thought about it beyond a friendship. Tenley leaned in. Cameron did kiss Tenley on purpose, but it wasn’t supposed to be on the cheek. He hadn’t even realized he missed. We are grateful for Kingsville bringing us together. From friends to getting married, the fun times have continued over the years and we can’t wait to see what the future holds!
