How far is the venue from the hotels?

Answer

Morais Vineyard and Winery is approximately 35 miles from downtown Fredericksburg. You always have to factor in traffic so please plan accordingly.

Question

I plan to drive down from DC/NoVA/MD on the day of the wedding. What can I expect?

Answer

Expect to encounter traffic. The 95 southbound traffic usually begins as early as 0800 on Saturdays so please please please factor in an extra hour or two when planning your trip, if you want to arrive on time.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No kids please. However, if you need a babysitter for the evening, please let Cheri know.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. The caterer has asked for the names of individuals with food allergies so please let Cheri know if we need to add you to the list.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is available at the venue.
