Nichols 2022

Back in high school we both had a job working at Dairy Queen, where we met and had our first kiss! We were instantly friends, even though Casey was a little goofy and would come in super sweaty and eat live crickets for a couple dollars. We stayed friends through college and saw each other from time to time while Casey was going to Western I was going to Olivet. I moved away after graduating college in 2012 then came back in 2016, and having no idea I was going to reconnect with Casey and end up marrying him! He took me on a date and the rest is history.

On September 14th, 2020 we went camping up in Manistee right on the beach. The second day that we were there Casey started a fire on the beach equipped with the best snacks and drinks. It was so beautiful. He asked me to walk the bluff overlooking the water, got down on one knee, pulled a ring out of his sock 😂,and asked me to be his wife. We both cried and celebrated.
