Alexis is Nikki’s former roommate. They met at their ESSENCE magazine summer internship. The two maintained their friendship, and when Alexis relocated from Louisiana to New York City, they moved in together, where they threw some of the most infamous house parties (e.g., The Roaring 1920s Murder Mystery Party) and Insecure watch nights. If and when Alexis partakes, she'll either have rosé or a straight shot of tequila.

Ariyon is Jordan’s girlfriend. Jordan introduced Ariyon to Nikki at their college graduation. Since meeting, Nikki and Ariyon have nurtured a close relationship independent of Jordan.
