The words that started it all. His response on Hinge- “how can a Tuesday be happy?” That’s all it took for Heather to fall in love with Marc’s sense of humor. They met up that following Friday at Billy and Pete’s Social in Larchmont NY for drinks and Pizza. The date was going great. Good conversation, loads of things in common, and then it happened. Heather spilled ALL the 5 drinks on the table on Marc. He was wet to his socks. With her face covered, her internal monologue went something like this , “CRAP, I blew it, he’s never going to call me!!!” She felt terrible, so offered to walk until he was dry enough to go home. To her surprise, he said yes. He called a day later and that following Saturday they went hiking for their second date.

Marc and Heather love hiking. On October 16th, 2022, Marc had a beautiful day planned- to go back to our 2nd date spot and have a “mountain beer” together. This time with his childhood friends and of course Duncan, Heather and Marc’s Bernedoodle. Heather knew, from previous conversations, that Marc didn’t want to propose with people around, so immediately, she knew this date was out. While talking to Corrine, she noticed that Marc, Duncan and the others were far ahead. When Heather and Corrine finally caught up, Marc was on one knee with a view to die for and with the most beautiful ring. Marc had also tied a handkerchief to Duncan that said, “Will you marry my dad?” How could she say no to that cuteness?!
