God has blessed us and brought us together in so many ways, and I couldn't be more grateful that it's gotten us to this point. My roommate at the time, she would bring him up, and talk him up, in casual conversation until the interest grew, and I finally asked for his number. After a year long journey of cat and mouse (including memories of hair highlighting cap disasters and many long weekend drives between Hattiesburg and Jackson), our bond continued to grow and we finally made things official. Eventually, being apart was torturous, and I made the 2 hour move to Jackson. Fast forward 8 years..... I'm assuming it's never gonna happen. I'm saying, 'You have 'til I'm 30.' Me knowing good and dang well, I wasn't going anywhere regardless. And just when I least expect it, HE PUT A RING ON IT, Y'ALL! All in God's perfect timing, we are FINALLY going to share the same last name, and the sacred bond of husband and wife. I simply couldn't be happier."
