Things To Do

Here are a few of our favorite things to do in our neighborhood. But the city is your oyster! Manhattan is a quick subway away for the quintessential NYC experience.

Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Brooklyn, NY 11238

The Brooklyn Botanic garden is beautiful in the spring when flowers are blooming. Check the website to see what's currently on display.

Brooklyn Museum

200 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11238

World-class museum next door to the botanic garden. Amazing seasonal and permanent exhibits. Check the website to see what's happening!

Brooklyn Bridge Park

New York, NY 11201

Park alongside the river with iconic views of Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge. It's also close to the neighborhoods of DUMBO and Brooklyn Heights which have tons of shops and restaurants, and beautiful architecture to explore.

Dekalb Market Hall

445 Albee Square West, Downtown Brooklyn, NY 11201

Exciting food court with endless options for munching. Great option for an indoor adventure if it's raining. It's also connected to City Point mall, which has shops, stores and our favorite movie theater that serves dinner, Alamo Drafthouse.

Brooklyn Heights Promenade

Pierrepont Place, Brooklyn Heights, NY 11201

Stunning park overlooking Manhattan in the posh neighborhood, Brooklyn Heights. Walk along the promenade and admire the beautiful homes of the area. This is where we took our engagement photos :)

Prospect Park

Brooklyn, NY

More or less our backyard. Beautiful park for frolicking and picnicking.
