When you came into the Tayo-Orekoya Clan, our lives definitely changed for the better, mama. We have been best friends for as long as I can remember and I have never once regretted it. You are my baby sister but I admire all that you are: you're smart, warm, funny, goofy, supportive, ready-to-help, kind, strong... just to mention a few of your qualities. You are my confidant and my literal person. Coincidentally, the groom, Tomiwa is also one of my closest friends. This is one Union my soul, my entire being calls blessed. THE MEETING OF TWO COOL-KINGS, This was 2007, I was the coolest Engineering Student; Tomiwa was the coolest Science Student. We were both in 200level in the University of Ilorin and the coolest gadget-The Apple iPod Nano Brought us together. Since then, it has been a rollercoaster with no hiatus. Tomiwa Omo Baba Olajide is a God-fearing guy and a people-person. He is a great sounding board, a motivation, and a cerebral creative. Our relationship means a lot to me and we have our exploits. In fact, I am humbled that Temilore said the first of Many YES to him on my Birthday and I am happy to see how love has transformed him. I wish “my sure guy” and his beautiful friend (Tems) a happy married life.

I met Temilore on Twitter! It all started with a picture of Temilore smiling but it quickly transcended into a friendship that I cherish so much. From giving tips on how to survive in Manchester to eventually meeting in person almost a year later, I can honestly say that this friendship is a God thing. Her heart is just a mix of everything good and wonderful and beautiful. So it goes without saying that she deserves the absolute best! I met Tomiwa in my second year at the University of Ilorin, after some sound intellectual debate we became friends. he was fond of witty Yoruba proverbs, sneakers and that boyish " NICK CANNON" look. He was never the life of the party, but his charm and demeanour can make a melancholic girl come alive. His room was very clean, stools dotted with books filled with exciting poetry, his lavatory was so neat it deserved a Michelin star. Tomiwa treated both his humanity and divinity with similar gusto! Like a child in a candy store, he was full of life, excellence and boyish beauty. Today, the Unassuming paradox has become a testimony of God's grace and favour. As you both cross the bridge of conjugal solitude, may greatness be normal in your lives.

It was a bright, sunny, hectic day at work when I heard there was a new lady joining the team. We were a team of 3 or 4 at the time (can't remember exactly now) and I was the only female. I had mixed feelings at first because I didn't know her and it would be either of two things - we become work besties or she makes my life a living hell haha, lol. She was such a breath of fresh air! WOW! I daresay, I have not met anybody like Temzzz before, so kind, caring, the most thoughtful, hottest brains and with the brightest smile! As you can tell, we bonded very quickly and became more than work friends. Temilore is ALWAYS ready to help, I don't know how she does it, and she has come through for me countless times. Tomiwa and I met at the University of Ilorin, a little over 15 years ago, where we had our first shot as an industrial chemist and shared many of life’s big moments. It has been particularly chilled to have him around during good times & otherwise and experience first-hand how our friendship has outlasted many events. Who knew guys like us who wondered what they would do with chemical formulas, thermodynamics and equations over a decade ago would turn out to be best friends and getting ready to stand by him on his wedding day is really one of my biggest honour. After following each other on twitter and exchanging DMs we exchanged numbers knowing we wanted to be friends. I formed my friendship with Temilore pretty much before I had formed anything else - my values, thoughts or opinions. It happened naturally.
