When should I RSVP by?

What does the Fort Conde Inn property look like?

Answer

The layout of the property is pictured above. The only difference is that there is no longer a pool, it has been filled in. There are multiple rooms within different houses available to book on the Fort Conde Inn property. We want all of our friends and family to be right there with us as we celebrate our love all weekend!

Where will the Reception take place?

Answer

The Reception will take place in the Fort Conde Historical Inn and on St. Emmanuel street! We are closing off St. Emmanuel Street to allow dancing and fun outside!

Where will the Ceremony take place?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at Christ Church Cathedral just off of Mardi Gras Park, about a 5-minute walk from the Fort Conde Inn. Please leave your cars at the Inn and walk to the Cathedral as we will be doing a Second Line from the Cathedral to the reception at Fort Conde Inn.

What is a Second Line?

Answer

A celebration of dancing thru the streets behind a brass band and the bride and groom. We want this to be a PARTY and joyful celebration from the church to our reception site (Fort Conde Inn). Wear shoes you can be comfortable enjoying in the festivities!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, ladies please dress in semi-formal summery garden party hues - bring on the color! Ruffles and textures are encouraged. We want this to be a joyful event, so wear bright colors and an outfit that makes you feel amazing! Please keep in mind comfortable shoes for the Second Line. If possible, kindly avoid black. Gents please wear a suit, tie optional. Colors and florals encouraged - can be for the suit or tie or both. If black is your staple, that works too. Dress to impress!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There is parking at the Fort Conde Inn in the lots marked "P" on the map above. Please use those lots to park prior to the ceremony.
