why did you choose a destination wedding?
Answer
We love to travel and create memories with the people we love. We both preferred the idea of a more intimate and low-key wedding.

where should I stay?
Answer
We've carefully selected Dreams Natura Resort and Spa for our wedding. This is an all inclusive resort. Your food, alcohol, parking/transport to and from the airport is included in your room fee. To book within our room block, you can visit our travel agent's website using the link provided in the travel section. If you have any questions, her email address is judy@traveldesignsbyjudy.com. She will be able to assist you with everything.

which airport should I fly to?
Answer
Cancun international airport is less than 20 minutes from Natura. Transport is included with your stay at the resort and will be coordinated by our travel agent, Judy.

do I need a passport?
Answer
Yes.. please get one as soon as possible, if you don't already have one.
Question
should I be worried about my safety in Mexico?
Answer
Like anywhere in the world, crime can occur.. as a whole, Mexico is generally safe for travelers if you take proper precautions, do your research, and use your head.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Final payment for the room block is due in October, which is why we ask that you rsvp by then. After October 27th, we can’t guarantee availability at the resort.

I have dietary restrictions. Can I make a special request?

Sure, there will be an option for that when you rsvp.

are kids welcome?
Answer
The resort is family friendly! Although, we are planning on it being an adults only wedding, we understand it can be hard to find child care. Just let us know if you will be bringing them.

what should I wear?

Semi formal attire with a relaxed and beachy vibe.. we love an excuse to dress up but want you to be comfortable.

will the wedding be outdoors?
Answer
Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be outdoors.. as long as it doesn’t rain.

what will the weather be like?
Answer
Typically, high 70's to low 80's.. hoping for clear skies.

Are there any other events around the wedding?
Answer
At this time, we are in the process of planning a welcome cocktail party on Sunday, rehearsal dinner on Monday and a group excursion on Wednesday.. we want you to enjoy your vacation however you like.. but, we encourage everyone to join us at any time throughout our stay. We will be there Saturday-Saturday.

While we don't expect anything other than your presence, we do understand that some may like to honor us with a gift.. for that reason, we have registered on Zola, Target and Amazon.
