Telijah and Emily met at church during a Young Adults Sunday meeting. It was Telijah's first time there, and he was very shy. Emily, being Emily, walked right up to him and said hi! After their short encounter, they were sure they wouldn't see much of each other again. Until one day, after a Sunday service, they spontaneously decided to play pickleball with two other friends. That's when they really hit it off! Telijah and Emily both love being active and competitive, though Telijah's competitiveness is much healthier than Emily's... When they took a rest and let the others play, they made a bet on who would win the round. Loser owes the other a Twix bar. Emily ended up winning, and the rest is history! They were inseparable ever since. When Telijah proposed to Emily a year and a half later, he got her a Twix bar to remember their first meeting. They are so grateful to God for bringing them together and are so excited to share their special day with all of you!
