The safety of our guests is a priority for us. If you’re not vaccinated we require you to wear a mask. If you’re vaccinated and still choose to wear a mask that is ok. Masks will be provided at the venue for all guests.
1208 Washington Place was the best venue because of the space and the access we have to multiple ballrooms and an outside terrace. Each ballroom can hold a maximum of 400 guests.
Our menu will include 2 meat options (chicken & beef), with a variety of cooked vegetable and a salad. We will also have side options for you to choose from. There will be one vegetarian option for the cocktail hour. If you’re vegan the only options are cooked veggies and salad during the reception.
1208 Washington Place has 3 levels. The reception will be on the first level in the main ballroom, if weather permits, the cocktail hour will be outside on the terrace and the ceremony will be in the ballroom on the 3rd level. Elevator access is available.
Tekia and Nick love the kids, but we would love for you to enjoy a kid free night with us. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate anyone under the age 16 (outside of the wedding party) in our wedding budget.
We want you to enjoy the moment, so this will be a unplugged ceremony. After the ceremony you are free to snap away.
We don’t have a theme, but we definitely want to see you all in your Sunday’s best. There will be photos and video taken during the ceremony and reception. Evening wear is good
We don’t have a registry, but if you’re looking to bless us we’re asking for monetary gifts only. Any amount.
With the increase in cases, and our goal to keep everyone safe and healthy, we are asking that all guests get tested 72 hours before the event.
RSVP will close February 20, 2022. This will give our caterer and event designer an accurate headcount before the event.
1208 Washington has a parking garage across the street near the Holiday Inn on the corner of Washington and Sumter St. Street parking is also available.
