TeKalyn and Ajani met at Rutland High back in 2013 when they were both in the marching band. Ajani gave TeKalyn his number and the young couple formed a strong bond soon after. Ajani quickly asked TeKalyn to be his girlfriend and they “dated” for nine short months. Who knew those nine months would turn into forever? They rekindled their romance in 2018 after TeKalyn sent Ajani a text asking how he'd been doing and went on their first outing the next day. Their courtship had begun. The young couple were inseparable during the rest of their college years and kept each other motivated during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the world began to open up, their romance continued to blossom. The couple started their careers, traveled in and out of the country, and went to numerous UGA football games. On December 30th, 2022, Ajani got down on both knees to ask TeKalyn to be his bride, and she happily cried yes. These two lovebirds are now about to embark on their happily ever after.
