DO YOU HAVE RECOMMENDATIONS ON WHAT TO WEAR TO EACH EVENT?
Answer
Yes! Under each event’s description is a recommendation for color and types of outfits to wear. There are multiple options for both men and women so to break this down even further: For Women: Lehenga: also called a choli, is a two-piece outfit that includes a top (usually cropped but there are many other options as well) with a long, high-waisted skirt. It is usually paired with a dupatta (drape) that you pin to your blouse. Suitable for all events, recommended for Sangeet/Garba night. Sari: an elaborately tied drape of fabric that normally covers from the shoulders to the ankles. Suitable for the Wedding but not recommended for Sangeet or Reception as it can be hard to dance in. Anarkali: a dress-like garment that consists of a long frock style top (similar to a maxi dress). These are flattering for all body types and suitable for all events. For Men: Sherwani/Kurta: a long-sleeved outer coat that is fitted that falls to below the knees and is buttoned down the front. It can be collarless, have a shirt-style collar, or a stand-up collar. Suitable for all events with the exception of Reception which is black tie. Overall, we want everybody to be comfortable so please reach out if you have further questions!

WHERE CAN I FIND INDIAN ATTIRE?

There are many options! You can borrow an outfit from someone, visit a store in person such as in Edison or purchase your own outfit online. WHAT KIND OF FOOD WILL THERE BE?

We often say that the best part of an Indian wedding is the food. There will be a wide variety of dishes with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options at most of the events. There are also in room dining options as well as few restaurants on the property.

The safety of our loved ones is of upmost importance to us. In the event you are feeling ill or experiencing any COVID symptoms, we respectfully ask that you remain home.

WHAT IS THE HOTEL NIGHTLY RATE?
Answer
Our room block rates are $384 + taxes and fees per night for a standard king or double queen at JW Marriott in Los Cabos.

WHEN IS THE LAST DAY TO BOOK MY HOTEL ROOM?
Answer
The room block for discounted room rates is available to book until September 29th, 2023 and is on a first come, first serve basis.

WHAT ARE MY TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS?
Answer
We will have transportation arranged to and from the Los Cabos International Airport to the JW Marriott. If you want personal transportation for other local activities, transportation company will have a desk at the check in lobby with discounted rates for your convenience.
