‘You don’t look like an attorney.’ These were the first words Tejal said to Colin during a pre-law meeting at Stetson University in 2021. Colin had just shared his ambitions, only to be put in his place by the girl he had been eyeing since enrolling at Stetson. Little did she know, Colin was determined to prove her wrong—and little did he know, she was just teasing him. A few months later, over ice cream (Tejal’s favorite treat), Colin asked her to be his girlfriend. As co-captains of the mock trial team, they became each other’s biggest supporters. Between study sessions and weekends exploring their college town, they fell in love—making each other better every step of the way. Over the years, they grew as a team, sharing adventures and creating countless memories together. In the fall of 2023, Colin proposed, knowing he had found his forever teammate, and Tejal said yes, knowing she had found hers. With faith, love, and a shared vision for the future, they have now started their next chapter together at law school. The countdown is on!
