Please join us for a morning hike into the red rocks! Starting bright and early, meet us at Posse Grounds Park and Ride to catch a free shuttle at 8:40 to hike the Soldiers Pass Cave Trail! This is 2.9 miles round trip, with the option of a further hike if interested. The shuttle runs every 45 minutes. Afterwards, we can head to lunch at Tortas De Fuego or venture to Slide Rock State Park to cool off in the natural water slides first! In the late afternoon, we will be exploring the local shopping scene and the artsy neighborhood Talequepaque. Alternatively please use your time as you wish! Perhaps book a Jeep tour!

Come explore the old ghost mining town of Jerome, then 12 minutes away in Clarksdale is the Verde Canyon Railroad Station. This afternoon we will be taking a 4 hour ride enjoying indoor luxury seating, personal charcuterie, drinks, and outdoor 360 degree open air cars to view the beautiful verde canyon! Per the railroad team, it is recommend to arrive 1.5 hours before departure. This allows time for our group to gather, check in, purchase additional food/drink from the cafe if hungry for more than the provided snacks, check out the gift shop, and board as a group. Tickets are ~$140. All guests walking in the wedding party during the ceremony are kindly asked to come to our Airbnb at 7pm for pizza and a ceremony day walk through! Bring your swimsuits!

The ceremony will be held in a standing space along the red rock mountain range. Wear comfortable shoes! Shuttle service to the trailhead will be provided from 4 different locations. Please send your accommodation information to us if you haven’t already to help us arrange the best pick up sites. Pick ups will begin at 2 for a 3pm start time! Our photographer, and officiant will provide guidance day of about where to go from the parking lot. If considering to drive your own vehicle, at this time we advise against it due to the risk of the parking lot being full as people use many parts of the Munds Wagon Trail.
6:30 pm - 11:30 pm
Your wedding attire
After a much needed break from the sun, shuttles will begin picking up guests for cocktail hour around 5:30pm for 6:15 start time. Enjoy snacks and the bar while the newly weds finish their photoshoot at the top of mountain! Get ready to dine, drink, and dance!! Shuttles will return guests to pick up locations (unless you drove to the reception hall of course).

To reiterate, all days of the trip you are welcome to join us or plan activities that align with you more. There will be nothing planned the final day to ensure that anyone who wants to join us for each event also has time to leave no stones unturned! Please see our “Things to Do” section for ideas.
