Ethiopian Orthodox Wedding Ceremony
We are honored to share a traditional Ethiopian Orthodox Christian wedding ceremony with our loved ones. What to Expect: The ceremony is held in a church and led by Ethiopian Orthodox priests. It is a deeply religious and formal event, with an emphasis on faith, tradition, and family. Dress Code: Modest and respectful attire is required. Women are kindly asked to wear long dresses and to bring a light scarf or shawl to cover their hair inside the church. Men should wear dress pants and collared shirts or suits. Please avoid sleeveless tops, short skirts, or revealing clothing out of respect for the setting. Guest are required to take off their shoes before entering the church. We’re so grateful to have you with us as we honor this beautiful cultural and spiritual tradition.
