If you are lucky enough to know TG then you know what true friendship really is. We met in a parking lot, lost, and on the way to the same party. It was fate! A week or so later, she called my house (my age is showing here) and I thought it was a one time thing. But if you know TG, she loves talking on the phone. Soon we were talking hours a day. 15 years later the conversations have grown longer and our friendship, stronger. TG has supported me during some of the best and worst times of my life. She has taught me to take the time and enjoy the little things, to celebrate myself, and speak up! I'm so lucky and grateful that we are friends and I'm honored to be a part of this milestone. Her heart is true, she's a pal and a confidant! Thank you, for being my friend!

TG is a real ride or die, probably one of the few friends I can keep it real with, someone I never have to worry about judging me and my thoughts and decisions and just always makes me see the brighter and positive side of life. She is a true friend and makes me feel comfortable enough to open up and express myself, which isn't always easy for me to do. She's always been there for me and I love how she is always there for all her family and friends. I'm forever grateful and blessed to have her as a friend. It’s rare to find a friend who you can work well with. It’s even more rare to find that friend over and over at multiple different jobs. TG was that friend for me and over the years our friendship has evolved from workplace besties to full blown ride or dies! She’s always been like a big cousin to me. We didn’t know it at the time then you moved down the street when we were in high school one house down we was neighbors we had good times you went to cedar hill and I went to desoto football rivals but have been homies ever since!

That boy I.T.!!! It’s been a good 15+ years of friendship. It takes me back to when we met at UNLV in the dorms. A cool, collective guy you’ve have always been. I think our friendship cultivated when you found out I didn’t have any rhythm whatsoever! It was at that moment we stayed up night and day, learning how to duggie; when we should have been studying. That day changed my life. We then developed a brotherhood that has always been nothing but amazing and I’m grateful for it. I’m beyond excited for you and TG to spend the rest of your lives together. From the time I met IT over 10 years ago he has been nothing but an amazing person not only to myself but to my sister and everyone around him. Everyone who I’ve met that knows IT always gives him high praise and love the person he is which speaks volumes to the type of person he is overall. I was honored to be asked by him to be one of his groomsman because I know so many people who love and adore him would love to be in this position, so for him to ask me just makes it even more meaningful and assures me the relationship we’ve built is genuine and pure. I’m grateful to have someone like IT in my life that’s a role model and is always looking out for me truly showing his selflessness at any time he can. I met I.T. through our friend Rob our freshman year of college. We were playing Rock Band, and as I heard this Division 1 football player’s delightfully melodic singing renditions of each song while simultaneously hitting his plastic drum set on “Medium” difficulty, I thought to myself “Wow, this guy is the real deal - he gets it”. Little did I know that at that point I was meeting someone who would change my entire outlook on life. It’s all love for IT - and I’m so honored to be part of his special day as he takes the woman who has been by his side loving him for as long as I’ve known him.

As we celebrate Imari and TG's wedding, I reflect on the moments that have solidified our friendship since our UNLV days in starting in 2008. Beyond the football field, our bond grew through shared passions; particularly freestyling, and being around all our friends at group events creating lasting memories. It's amusing that whenever Imari's personalized answering machine kicks in, I'm reminded of his rap battle challenge. Our friendship remains steadfast, a testament to the enduring connection we've cultivated over the years.
