Savannah/Hilton Head International (SAV) is the main, international airport that the majority of guests will fly into. Delta, American Airlines, United, Southwest, Allegiant, Frontier, and jetBlue all fly in and out of SAV. It is located 40 minutes from Hilton Head Island. To get to the island, we recommend Uber, taxi, rental car, or booking a shared/private shuttle. Hilton Head Island Airport is the small airport located directly on the island. Delta, American Airlines, and United offer direct flights from a few major cities (DFW, ATL, ORD, CLT, AID, DCA).
There will not be coordinated transportation for any of the weekend's events. Ubers, Lyfts, taxis, and shuttles are available to use. A few transportation companies on the island include: HHI Express: (970)420-8827 hhiexpressllc@gmail.com Diamond Transportation: (843)247-2156 https://hiltonheadrides.com/ Palmetto Car Service: (843)981-1111 https://palmettocarservice.com/
Of course not! There are so many hotels and accommodations around the island to choose from. The island is only ~12 miles long so you will be able to get just about anywhere in 20-30 minutes.
Summer weather continues well into September on Hilton Head Island. The average highs for early September are between 82 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit. The average lows are around 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
Don't be afraid to dress up! On the day of the wedding, men are invited to wear tuxedos and women to wear floor-length gowns. The men in the wedding party and family are renting from Generation Tux - an online rental delivered right to your door. There are other companies for tuxedo rentals such as The Black Tux or Jos A Bank.
All children are invited to join us for the Welcome Party. Our wedding ceremony and reception are baby/kid-free events. If you require a babysitter for the evening, please message Tegan or Will and we will be able to assist you with finding a reliable babysitter that the Osborne family trusts on Hilton Head.
