FAQs

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

We ask that our guests wear cocktail attire. Color and patterns are more than welcome- please no neon! As it will be January and Florida weather is unpredictable, please bring something to help keep warm just in case. The ceremony and reception are both outside of the mansion and the porch is made of the original wood from the 1800s! That being said, the owners ask to refrain from wearing stiletto heels to avoid damage to the flooring. If you opt to wear stilettos, heel covers will be available to use.

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive and be seated no later than 10 minutes prior to ceremony time. This will ensure that everything can start on time. If you do arrive past the start of the ceremony time, you may be asked to wait until the ceremony is over to join the party. Please account for traffic if traveling day-of.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my kids?

Answer

Although we do love everyone's kiddos, if they are not listed on the RSVP page or we have not told you directly, we ask that they stay home.

Question

May I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Unless stated on your RSVP, there will be no plus-ones. The ceremony space only allows for a certain number of people so we need to limit plus-ones.

Question

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

If you have food allergies, there will be a space to note that when it comes time to RSVP. There will be accommodations for any allergies or or those who practice a vegetarian diet.

Question

Are there more accommodations than listed on the Travel page?

Answer

Yes! Mount Dora is full of cute and quaint Airbnbs that are available to reserve if you prefer that over a hotel. Most accommodations in Mount Dora will be a 10-15 minute drive to the venue.
