Known to family and friends as “Hollywood,” Maureen brings main-character energy everywhere she goes. A “Hey, Hollywood!” is welcomed when you see her at the wedding.

Chris and Tyreen have known each other for 23 years. More than just a friendship, Chris and Tyreen share a lifelong brotherhood built on loyalty, respect, and always being there when needed most. There isn’t much these two haven’t seen each other through. Chris’ favorite song is “Married to the Game” - Future and his favorite movie is Scarface. Some may know him as Chris, but the real ones know him as “Blacc.” So if you’re a real one you know what to do.

Summer is Teena’s best friend of 21 years! They met freshman year in P.E. class and have been inseparable since. True to her name, Summer carries sunshine wherever she goes. The song she always has on repeat is “Jackie Brown” by Brent Faiyaz and loves RomComs but her favorite is the Holiday. Around here, Summer answers to “Troph,” short for Trophy for obvious reasons. When you see her at the wedding say, “Hey Troph!”

Jeff and Ty’s friendship started about 9 years ago when they joined the ‘Slayers’ flag football team. Jeff is the type of friend that will have a good time no matter the circumstances. This guy is always down for the next adventure and always makes sure people feel welcomed and seen. “Choosing Texas” by Ella Langley is on heavy rotation for Jeff and his go to movie genre is action comedy. Jeff is better known as “Coach,” so don’t forget to give him a “What’s up, Coach?” when you see him.

Best friend to Teena for 13 year, Angel is a source of peace and comfort to everyone around her. She is the kind of friend whose loyalty never wavers, the type to stand beside you through every season, every challenge, and every triumph. The song she has on heavy rotation right now is ‘Int’l Players Anthem’ by UGK. Her favorite movie is The Bone Collector. Funny story, when Teena and Angel first met, Teena was saving Angel’s contact and says, “how do you spell Angel in Spanish, A N N H E L L?” Angel looked up at her and they both laughed. Garland has been a brother to Tyreen for 15 years and they are birthday twins #teamvirgo! Garland is the type of friend who shows up and shows out. He is as dedicated to his brotherhood as he is to his run clubs. His favorite song is ‘Vanilla Sky’ by Brent Faiyaz, until some new Meek Mill drops and his favorite movie is ‘The Wood’. You can call Garland, “G” and don’t be afraid to hype him up on the dance floor.

Britney is Summer’s big sister, but for the last 21 years she has also been a bonus big sister and best friend to Teena. She is the perfect mix of protector and nurturer, always ready with a listening ear, loving advice, and boxing gloves when needed. Britney has the kind of presence that makes people feel safe. Her favorite song is “Mutt (CB Remix),” and she’ll never turn down a good romance or chick flick. When you see her at the wedding, make sure to say, “What up, Brit!”

Matt and Tyreen met working together at Maxim healthcare 7 year ago. What started as a work friendship quickly turned into a brotherhood. Matt keeps the party going and loves to crack jokes. He lives life with both a smile and an East Coast Italian edge. His favorite song is ‘Die trying’ by Drake and true to his DNA, Italian MOB is his favorite film genre. Two things, make sure you call him “Porky” and be sure his cup stays full!
Noor

Noor has known Tyreen since high school and was introduced to Teena in 2016 and their friendship quickly blossomed from double dates to one on ones sun bathing. Noor is a down to earth chameleon who’s always up for an adventure! She might be from Toledo but she is a SoCal girlie to her core. Her favorite song is “A Couple Minutes” by Olivia Dean, and she loves drama movies. When you see her at the wedding yell out “Noorie!”

Frank and Tyreen met working together at Amergis, FKA Maxim Healthcare, 9 years ago. Frank is a walking good time! He will always make sure everyone around is having a great time and has a go with the flow attitude. His unwavering loyalty and genuine care for his friends make them feel like family, making the strength of their friendship easy to understand. Frank’s favorite song is ‘Spottieottiedopaliscious’ by Outkast and has a sweet spot for Romcoms.

Shay is Teena’s best friend of 19 years! She is a free spirit with a lust for life, and finds beauty in all things. Shay has the kind of vibe you wish you could bottle up and keep. The song she has on heavy rotation is “Pouco” by Nathi. She loves to laugh and is a sucker for love, so of course her favorite film genre is RomCom but she loves ‘Something’s Gotta Give’.
