Dustin and Teegan were introduced by a mutual friend. They first got to know each other over two years ago at a diesel truck show in North Carolina. They soon found out how much they had in common and started going on dates such as bowling, campfires, and concerts! Their weekends filled up with motorcycling, hiking, camping, and wrenching on vehicles together. Relationships aren’t just about sharing mutual interests; but about maintaining balance. Meeting halfway on the highway for weekly date nights, since they live 90 miles apart, is an example of their teamwork. In addition, their personalities, when blended, strike a perfect balance between easy-going and driven. Combined with their strong faith in God, they will always have common ground to stand on!

Dustin had the ring before their most recent hiking adventure. He knew that a mountain top proposal would be ideal because hiking and enjoying nature had facilitated a strong bond between them. This multi-day hike, through the high peaks of NC, was going to be the longest in duration so far. Unfortunately, the first day Dustin suffered from a knee injury and the mood was cooled further by a violent thunderstorm! The next day they knew they had to hike out of the woods to rest his knee, but they still had to ascend four peaks over 6000 ft. At the end of the trip just after Black Balsam Knob, he got down on his good knee and popped the question! They proceeded to make it out of the wilderness safely and they look forward to many more adventures together!
