What is the dress code?
Answer
For the wedding day, we invite you to dress in Desi Formal or American Formal attire—whatever makes you feel comfortable and fabulous! The bridesmaids will be in lehengas, while the groomsmen will be in suits. For women, we recommend sarees, lehengas, tea length dresses, or floor length dresses. For men, we recommend suits or kurtas. We encourage everyone to embrace bright colors! If you need help figuring out Desi clothes- don't hesitate to text Sonali ;) The dress code for our Welcome Drinks event is Smart Casual.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
The wedding day is an adults-only celebration, so bring your dancing shoes! We hope everyone can relax and enjoy a night off with us. Please feel free to bring your children to our Welcome Drinks event!

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We ask that only those listed on your invitation attend the celebration. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the bride and groom!

Do I need a rental car?
Answer
Probably not! Santa Barbara is very easy to get around without a rental car. Uber and Lyft are readily available, and many of our favorite spots are walkable or just a short ride away. Our ceremony and reception will both be held at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort, so there’s no need to travel between venues. Our welcome drinks event is at the Arlington Theater Courtyard Patio, which is just a quick ride from the hotel. If you're planning to explore the area before or after the wedding, you’re welcome to rent a car—but it definitely isn't necessary for the wedding weekend itself.

Will dietary restrictions be accommodated?
Answer
Absolutely! When you RSVP, you will be able to indicate any food allergies or restrictions you have. There will be plenty of vegan options of course! We will be serving Indian food.
