We're getting married!

Marissa and Teddy met working at an after school program in 2014. Every time they were assigned to work in the same homeroom or run an activity together, they knew it’d be a good day. After over a year of friendship, Marissa gathered up the courage to ask Teddy to her sorority date party. With a brave first step out of the way, Teddy could safely reciprocate and ask Marissa out. Thus, their romance was brewing. Marissa almost spoiled the good thing they had going, when she went to study abroad in Tel Aviv, 6,000 miles away. The time difference meant Teddy would stay up until 1:00am just to send a “Good Morning” text. He decided to take matters into his own hands, and only four months into their relationship, flew half way across the world to visit Marissa. Over the last 9 years, they have crossed several milestones together, including but not limited to: college graduations, a trip to Europe, 21st birthdays, Marissa completing law school and Teddy completing grad school, a couple of apartments, lockdowns, new jobs, and even raising their dog, Rooney. After only 8.5 short years, Teddy proposed to Marissa on the river trail by their apartment, with Rooney by their side. A whole surprise party with friends and family after the proposal was immediately spoiled by the hidden photographer Teddy hired but nevertheless, we persisted. Marissa and Teddy have been hard at work with wedding plans and are so excited to celebrate their love with you soon!
