There will be a shuttle to and from Aloft in Anchorage. If you plan to drink at our wedding (and please do), PLEASE plan to take the shuttle or organize a designated driver. The venue is about a 20-30 minute drive from Anchorage and the last 1/3 of the drive is up a dirt road with minimal lighting. If you plan to safely drive yourself, there is plenty of available parking at the venue.
The ceremony will be held outside (weather permitting), followed by dinner and dancing inside. Anchorage weather is totally unpredictable so please bring a jacket and wear appropriate shoes. It is totally possible that it will be rainy and windy- or perhaps it will be a lovely 65 degree summer day! :)
We are trying to limit numbers at our wedding. If you are local to Anchorage and can get a sitter, it is highly encouraged. We do love your kids and would love to see them at the welcome party on Friday! Please let us know if you plan to bring your children to the wedding.
